Ladies, Sharon had sent me some links to check out and add to our blog. I added them and you should be able to click on the links to the right to get to each site. They all have great info and ideas. I also had heard about another site called Spark People. I checked it out briefly and it looks good. I think that it has message boards also.

Mondays are a hard day for me to fit much in, but I will try to meet any challenges. Jessica, I know you mentioned you are trying to build up your aerobic tolerance on the T-mill. As I stated before this is also one of my weak areas. On Sat. I did run without a rest for 1 mile at 5.6mph and a 1.5 elevation. For the next mile I walked 1/8 mile then ran 1/8 mile. who knows maybe I will begin to enjoy running( I doubt it)!!!!!!

Check out the Prevention Link on the Blog, Sharon had sent it to me and it had an article about the difference between women who do some running as part of their walking rountine versus those who just walk. Definately a motivator for me.
I did the t-mill yesterday too. Walked for 5 mins., ran for 8 mins, [was huffing and puffing for the majority of it], walked for 5mins., ran again for 4 mins. and finished with a 10 minute walk. It was a challenging work out for me. My leg muscles were tired to begin with. Today, Sunday is my day off this week. :o) Although it's nice enough to take Tucker for a walk around the block?!
